Second Practice Session As Good As The First After last weekend's successful practice session, confidence was high in the Hale Racing camp for another successful weekend of practice this Saturday. Was it? Absolutely. Being successful one weekend is always a good thing. Doing it two weeks in a row shows consistency, and that was the goal for this weekend's session. Once again, Hale Racing was one of the weekend's most competitive teams. It was a gorgeous Saturday afternoon at the 3/8 mile oval track of Rocky Mountain Raceways and things looked good right from the get go. Hale Racing once again had both racecars out for practice, and once again, both were quite successful. Between the two cars this week; the Left Hander took top honors for the fast car of the day with a 15.74 elapsed time. The McHander chassis wasn't far behind however as Michael turned an equally competitive lap in it with a lap time of 15.75 during his final session of the day. With both cars being consistent, it gave the team some added comfort to know if anything were to happen to the team's primary car, a pretty competitive backup car will be ready to go. After it seemed clear that both cars were where they needed to be, the trailers were loaded, tools were cleaned up, and the team was confident that they were ready for next week's practice, and even more importantly, the first race of 2009. That's right, the first race is next Saturday, the 25th of April. Don't miss it! Hale Racing wants to give another special thank you to our sponsors for this season.
