Available Well the 2008 season is one month old, and Hale Racing continues to hold firmly onto second place in the overall points standings. 71 points separate the points leader, Gary Madsen and 2nd place, Michael Hale. With plenty of time left in the season, a lot can happen; especially in this class. The final race of May sure was an exciting one. Michael had one of the fastest cars of the night and showed it by finishing 2nd overall... just 7 points behind 1st. The night kicked off pretty well for Hale Racing as the team was able to earn the 1st place qualifying position with a lap time of 15.758. It was the first time this season that Michael had earned the pole position, and in this class, that's a great achievement. Between Michael's 15.758 1st place time and the 10th place time of 15.969... that's barely a difference of two tenths of a second. I dare say this class is as close as it gets. Michael's heat race could have gone a little better, but 4th place is where things ended. It was the main event that proved most exciting, and in 2008 it seems every main event is going to be pretty darn exciting. I think the video footage will prove it. That's right, video footage of this event is now available and ready for download. Michael started dead last for this one and managed to work his way through traffic up to fourth. Not to mention avoiding the worst wreck in the modified class this season. Both a high speed and low speed connection video is available, so don't miss out on the great footage. Dial-up connections are not supported. I am going to try and release some high definition videos in the future, but for now the plan is to just make sure video is available and the updates keep coming. I apologize for not being more consistent each week. As we always do, Hale Racing would like to close out this article with another big thanks to all of our great sponsors and fans. Good night or bad, you guys continue to stick by our side and keep us going. We greatly appreciate all your help and support and hope to see more of you each and every week. Remember to wear our colors proudly each and every Saturday and don't forget to stop by the trailer after the night's event. We always enjoy your company. Thanks again to all our sponsors and fans. We'll see you next week! Short article written by Brad Edwards
