Team Prepares For Final Race Of 2008 At LVMS
After Tough Dirt Rack Race in Price

6:20 PM Mountain Standard Time

HIGH SPEED VERSION OF 2004 LAS VEGAS RACE VIDEO NOW AVAILABLE

Well the dirt track car's final race of 2008 definitely wasn't it's best.  Bad luck struck the team pretty hard in Price back in September.  A rotor failure caused some major engine detonation and to make a long story short, severe engine damage occurred and put an end to the weekend real quick.  Although it was a costly loss, the team will most certainly be back to get dirty again in 2009.

2008 isn't quite over yet though.  That's right, we're officially less than 2 weeks away from "The Fall Classic" in Las Vegas, Nevada at the Bullring in Las Vegas Motor Speedway. (Full Story & Links to Video Footage)

More Endurance Races Please, Team Wins 2nd Straight 100 Lapper

5:13 PM Mountain Standard Time

You really couldn't have asked for a better way to finish up the season at Rocky Mountain Raceways.  September 13th was host to a full moon, and typically that sort of thing meant bad luck.  Well, on this full moon night, luck was on our side, and Hale Racing took home the big check and a whole lot of smiles.  It was special to win this event last year, but to back it up with another, that's just extraordinary.

Team Finishes 2nd In Points, 2008 In The Books

11:48 PM Mountain Standard Time

HIGH AND LOW SPEED VIDEO NOW AVAILABLE!

Wrap it up, put it in the bag, and close the books.  The points season for 2008 is officially over and Hale Racing once again showed consistency with their second straight season of finishing 2nd in the overall points standings.  Although it was somewhat disappointing, and not quite a championship finish, the team is happy about the continued consistency.  The final race of the season wasn't a perfect one, and by the end the car wasn't quite as straight as it was at the beginning of the day, but second place was wrapped up so all was well at the end of the night.  Even though the event wasn't perfect, it sure was exciting. "From The Stands" Video Gallery Officially Functioning
2:35 AM Mountain Standard Time

Well I've finally got our "From The Stands" video gallery up and running.  Although the only video available as of right now is the most recent race, now that I have some working pages, I can begin to make more available.  It was much like building the photo gallery, and was quite time consuming, but it's now functioning and ready to roll.  I plan to make two more races available by the end of the week.  Stay tuned.      After two heart breaking asphalt events and a pretty successful dirt event, Hale Racing returned to Rocky Mountain Raceways for the second to last points race of the season.  It was pretty safe to assume that the championship was out of reach and the goal now was to hold onto second place.  Hale Racing just about put that spot in the bag after Saturday night. Video Gallery Open, Video Editing Begins
5:06 PM Mountain Standard Time

Okay, the "From The Stands" section of our Video Gallery is now open. Please note, there are NO VIDEOS available as of yet.  I'm still in the process of getting them edited, and hoping to have some uploaded by the end of the week, so please be patient.  I watched 3 hours worth of video the other night and found some pretty good old footage, so stay tuned as I hope to make a lot of it available in upcoming days.  Thanks for your patience.

Major Video Update In The Works!
3:49 PM Mountain Standard Time

Alright, first I'd like to apologize to all of our fans who have been coming by the website and not finding any new material.  I just want everyone to know that I'm currently in the stages of getting the video gallery up and running, and hope to have it up and running by tomorrow evening.  My work schedule now frees up my Sundays and Mondays, so I should have more time to dedicate to the website.  I apologize, and ask you all you continue visiting through the week as I plan to post some videos from years past and try to get absolutely everything I have recorded in the years I've been doing this for Hale Racing... onto the website.  I hope you'll be patient and stay tuned.  Thanks for stopping by.

2 Months Down, Still 2nd Overall
5:11 PM Mountain Standard Time

Wow, I really need to do a better job at reporting the news around here don't I?  My apologies to all you Hale Racing fans.  With two months of the season in the books, Michael Hale still remains second in the points standings, and it's definitely going to be an uphill climb for the team throughout the remainder of the season.  Hale Racing is up for the task.  I will get video footage of the last two races posted before this weekend's event, so stay tuned to HaleRacing.com for an update on the July 5th race, and video footage from it and the June 28th race.  I have some video editing to do, so keep checking back.  Thanks for stopping by.

-Video Footage From The Stands Coming Soon-

After a great visit to the dirt of Price, Utah, Hale Racing returned to Rocky Mountain Raceways on Saturday night to continue their battle for the 2008 points championship.  Michael and crew faired quite well; finishing 1st overall and putting a tiny dent in the points lead held by the #11 of Gary Madsen.  Although it was tiny, it still gave the team hope for the remainder of the year.  I'm working as quickly as possible to get video footage available for everyone.  I'm hoping to have it by this afternoon, but encoding 4 different videos is time consuming.  Stayed tuned to HaleRacing.com throughout the day as I will keep you all posted.  Thank you for your patience, and thank you for stopping by. -Video Footage of 06/13/2008 Race Now Available-

Hale Racing made it's second trip to the dirt field last weekend, and a double dose of dirty success made it easy to forget about the June 7th asphalt race.  Yep, that race was behind us now, and it was time to get down and dirty in Price, Utah.  Hale Racing did just that, and wound up with two top 5 finishes and the teams most successful dirt race weekend yet. Two Ouch's, But Team Still Confident
2nd in RMR Points, 4TH IN NATIONAL SERIES
8:58 PM Mountain Standard Time

Saturday's race was one to be forgotten.  That pretty much sums up how the night went.   After some successful practice sessions and another #1 qualifying position, things looked up for Michael Hale and the team.  Unfortunately it was Kamikaze night at the races and the night ended with a banged up racecar and lots of frustration.  Oh, but there is still plenty of confidence in this team, and after a week off from the asphalt, Hale Racing will return to RMR as competitive as ever. One Month In, Team Still Holds Onto 2nd Place
2:51 AM Mountain Standard Time

-High Speed Onboard Video Now Available-

Well the 2008 season is one month old, and Hale Racing continues to hold firmly onto second place in the overall points standings.  71 points separate the points leader, Gary Madsen and 2nd place, Michael Hale.  With plenty of time left in the season, a lot can happen; especially in this class.  The final race of May sure was an exciting one.  Michael had one of the fastest cars of the night and showed it by finishing 2nd overall... just 7 points behind 1st. 1st Race - 2nd Place
2nd Race - 1st Place

5:22 AM Mountain Standard Time

Well the 2008 race season has finally kicked off, and Hale Racing is already off to a terrific start.  The first event of the season came on April 26th, and Michael Hale was able to earn himself a 4th place finish in the feature race, and a 3rd place overall finish.  Race 2 of the 2008 season was scheduled for May 3rd, and all was well until approximately 10 laps into the feature race, a power failure at Rocky Mountain Raceways caused the event to be cancelled.  Well that feature race was rescheduled for May 10th, and Hale Racing made a very strong showing on the year's first "Double Main" Saturday night. 3:19 PM Mountain Standard Time

Wow, the 2008 season is only 2 months away.  Are you as excited as we are?  We certainly hope so.  For the 2008 season, a new member of the team has come onboard to help support Hale Racing, and we'd like to properly introduce them.  Beehive Bail Bonds has not only been serving Salt Lake City for the past 30 years, but the entire United States as well. Video Gallery Still In The Works
1:46 PM Mountain Standard Time

Well it's been a few weeks since an update here at HaleRacing.com and I thought it was time I post an update regarding our Video Gallery.  I ran into a few speed bumps and getting a hold of some of our older videos has been a bit tricky, but I'm slowly but surely tracking them down.  There was definitely some organization problems with the site while we were working with the Comcast.net and MediaMax.com services.  Now that we're running on a solid foundation, and a consistent server, organization shouldn't be a problem, and everything will be much easier to maintain.  Stay posted as I should have the video gallery up and running within the next few weeks.  Thank you for your continued support and patience.  Come back soon!

Video Gallery Coming Soon!
1:08 PM Mountain Standard Time

Now that HaleRacing.com has moved to a new server, our video collection is going to become 100% more reliable.  With the guaranteed reliability, we can now add a "Video Gallery" to the site.  It will work similar to our Photo Gallery, and give visitors the opportunity to simply browse through videos arranged by date, car, asphault or dirt, onboard video or video recorded from the stands.  No more having to dig through news articles to find the video you want to see.  And no more worrying about whether or not it's going to work.  I hope to have this section up and running by 2008.  That gives me 3 weeks to get everything up and running.  Please note from now until the time the new gallery is complete... some videos may not be accessible.  We have two different servers hosting some of our videos, and now that we have 100GB worth of storage through GoDaddy.com, we are now able to move all of our videos to one server.  Stay tuned to HaleRacing.com for updates on this added feature.  Thanks for stopping by.

"Go-Kart" Photos Added!
12:58 PM Mountain Standard Time

In mid 2007, Hale Racing's youngest member, Riley Hale, recently began piloting a Go-Kart, and it's about time he gets his props.  We've posted some photos from his May 12th, 2007 race at Miller Motorsports Park in Tooele, UT.  Check the youngster out.

"On-Track" Photo Gallery Officially Added!
1:07 PM Mountain Standard Time

Finally.  That's right, I've finally found the time to get around to adding the long missing "On-Track" Photo Gallery.  The links that are available should be working, but if you run into one that gives you problems, please let me know.  There are only a few photos currently posted, but a whole lot more are coming, so stay tuned to HaleRacing.com throughout the next little while.  I plan on using the offseason time to upgrade the photo galleries.  I'll keep everybody posted as to when an update occurs, so keep your eye on the site.  Thanks for stopping by.  Enjoy the new photos! Server Up And Running, Updates Coming Soon!
8:42 AM Mountain Standard Time

Well after almost a week of being on the new server, it appears things are running smoothly with everything that's hosted on the new server.  If some of our videos are still not working, please don't panic.  There are still a small few that I've yet to transfer over.  95% of the site should be up and running the way it's supposed to.  I'm currently in the process of going through and reorganizing our photo gallery so I can add new ones from the teams two weeks in Las Vegas. Stay tuned to HaleRacing.com for more updates throughout the week.  Thanks again for your patience and continued support of the team.

New Server Now Online
2:09 AM Mountain Standard Time

HaleRacing.com has officially moved to a new server.  The functionality of our website should be much more consistent, faster, and twice as reliable as our previous server.  Please keep in mind some pages may not yet be available as we are still working out the kinks in the moving process.  I will post a small update later this week to give you all a status on how the move is going.  Thanks for stopping by, and we appreciate your patience.
